Dr. Imam Zijad Delic
A dynamic and passionate Imam, Dr. Zijad Delic brings a wealth of study in the Islamic Sciences to Khadijah EliteTM. He offers his perspective to course creation, resources, and ensuring that Islamic guidelines are followed in the Khadijah EliteTM process.
He trained to become an Imam in his home country of Bosnia, achieving a BA with Honors from the International Islamic University in Islamabad. He taught and worked as an Imam in both countries.
Dr. Zijad earned a Master’s degree from the University of Oregon, and a Doctorate from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. In 2008 Dr. Delic was honored for a decade of continuous volunteer service by the Province of Ontario and in both 2009 and 2010 he was included in the prestigious publication, “The 500 Most Influential Muslims in the World”. His studies and work and years of experience as an Imam and educator from 1990 to the present day makes the Imam a perfect overseer for Khadijah EliteTM.
As the resident Imam at the South Nepean Muslim Association in South Ottawa, he has performed many marriages and has tried to help Muslim singles find matches.
